First snow in Wash DC area

WASHINGTON DC -- The first snowfall of the season coupled with low temperatures resulted in slick roadways Wednesday, causing crashes and snarling rush hour traffic. Our trip to the office : almost 2 hours extra !!!
Snow began falling in the Washington area at about 6 a.m. Snow is expected to taper by 8 p.m. and move out of the area by midnight. Temperatures are expected to drop once the snow stops and the sky clears, causing icy conditions.
