It was legendary golf instructor, David Leadbetter who introduced me (and a few others ...) into the precision club and ball sport. Like so many people, I thought that playing golf couldn't be that complicated. Well, I thought wrong ... You have to master the swing in order to get some result. You have to generate tremendous power by coiling the upper body with a big shoulder turn. The hips, however, don't turn nearly as much. This creates tension and torque, not unlike a rubber band being stretched before it's let go. Easier said than done ...
