In the USA, as you know, everything is big if you compare it with Europe, but Sugarloaf Mountain is small, only 391 m. It's about 116 km south of Frederick, Maryland. The closest village is Barnesville, located nearly at the foot of the mountain. Because of its geological and recreational interest, it was designated a National Natural Landmark in 1969.
