The reopened American History Museum

After a two-year shutdown and an $85 million face-lift, the National Museum of American History in Washington reopened a couple of weeks ago. We saw just a few interesting exhibits :
a seldom-viewed copy of the Gettysburg Address, handwritten by Honest Abe himself and a spiffy new repository for the original 30-by-34-foot "Star Spangled Banner", that inspired the national anthem. Since the admission is free, it is a must see, but we were not really impressed or overwhelmed. Click HERE for the pix.
